The 50th battalion of the "nahal" brigade is an infantry unit in the defense of Israel since 1955 newly drafted cadets are brought to the "nahal tov" training base in the Negev region of Israel where they learn to become highly trained soldiers.
The March 208 draft has brought together a large number of extremely motivated recruits to a new company at the "nahal tov" school. The young company will eventually become part of the 50th battalion after a long and rigorous training process. The company's mission statement declares that its goal is to create a company which is professional, flexible, strives for the victory and is prepared for every mission cast upon it. The company will train a maximum number of soldiers and develop a backbone of strong commanders while placing an emphasis on the individuals. In order to provide extra equipment and goods to the hard working soldiers and in order to consummate its mission, the company asks for donations from individuals seeking to contribute to the IDF. The benefaction will help from morale amongst the soldiers as well as a sense of pride within the unit. Common contributions that come along with the unit's emblem include fleece jackets, bathrobes, watches, backpacks, hydration packs, headlamps, multipurpose pocket tools and other equipment or apparel.
The picture below describes the donation process. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the company's head of logistics, first sergeant Alon Bachar: 052-447-1412 (from outside of Israel +972-52-447-1412).
Sincerely,
