All the
Mezuzah Parchment that we sell are 12 cm / 4.7 inches in height (if you want a different size please be in contact with me). The reason for this
is because larger parchment allows the sofer stam - the scribe, making
the Mezuzah to write with greater ease thus preventing possible errors
in the writing.
We will roll the Mezuzot for you if you wish and put them in simple plastic cases - all included in the price.
As with
all our STaM - Sefer Torah, Tefillin and Mezuzot the greatest of care
is given to provide you with Kashrut and Hidur. After the the Tefillin
Beit E-l Sofer - Scribe, writes and checks his work we check it to see
if the katv - writing is of the standard of Hidur that Tefillin Beit E-l
demands. Next we send it to be scanned and checked by a computer. How
ever good the computer maybe it is not recognized by Jewish Law. The katav
- writing is then rechecked by our Ba'al Hagah - certified examiner. All
this is standard for every kitva - kodesh, holy - writing of Torah, Tefillin
and Mezuzot.
