Sefer Torah

Explanation of the Sefer Torah:

1. The klaf: Comes from the leather of a Shalil(the finest parchment). The tanning process is done in such a way to leave a velvet like surface.
2. Size: The general size of the klaf is between 54cm and 55cm (21.25 inches and 21.65 inches).
3. Ink: Top quality black ink that won't fade within 25 years. (See our guarantee)
4. We will provide an example of the writing.
5. Terms of transfer: We will supply the Sefer Torah after all the klafs have been tagged (the placement of the crowns on the appropriate letters), check by a certified checker, checked by a computer (learn about computer checking), sewed together, and attached to the Etz Chaim (the wooden handles of the Sefer Torah). The Etz Chaim is sold separately. The Sefer Torah will be ready to be blessed on at the time it leaves the factory.

Guarantee of the Factory:

1. Date of completion: Once the date is agreed upon by the customer and the factory we guarantee that delivery date.
2. Personel checking: The factory gives permission to the buyer to take the klafs to his home, prior to completion of the Sefer Torah, from our store in Jerusalem or in an agreed mutual place, thus the buyer can read and check the Sefer Torah from the beginning to the end. One must be very careful that the writing does not get damaged for example from water, moisture, heat, cold, physical damages and anything else that might harm the writing. All responsibility (Chas VeChalilah) is the purchasers' once it is removed from our presence.
3. Hagahot: The checking of the writing: After the Sefer Torah has been checked, Tefillin Beit E-l will provide confirmation from the certified checker and the computer check.
4. Guarantee:
   1. Tefillin Beit E-l is responsible for all writing problems that might arise (Chas VeChalilah) after 10 years of purchasing the Sefer. For example extra or missing letters or letters joined.
   2. Tefillin Beit E-l is responsible for any ink fading, Chas VeChalilah, within 25 years after purchase of the Sefer.
5. Halacha questions: Any questions that might arise in regards to the Sefer Torah will be decided by Rabbi Shabtai Sabato - Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshivat Netivot Yosef.
